Recording Financial Transactions:
Enter and categorize financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, into Quickbooks Desktop.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Update and maintain the general ledger, which is a comprehensive record of all financial transactions of the business.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements regularly.
Accounts Payable:
Process and record invoices, ensuring that payments are made accurately and on time.
Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
Accounts Receivable:
Generate and send out invoices to customers.
Track and follow up on overdue payments.
Payroll Processing:
Calculate and process employee salaries, deductions, and withholdings.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to payroll.
Financial Reporting:
Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss and cash flow statements.
Provide financial information to management for decision-making.
Budgeting Support:
Assist in the preparation of budgets by providing financial data and insights.
Compliance and Regulations:
Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting principles Data Accuracy:
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
Perform periodic audits to identify and correct errors.
